Security

We design minitoolbar so that your files are handled as safely as possible. Most tools process your images and PDFs directly in your browser instead of on our servers.

How we handle your files

For our core tools (such as Image Converter, Image Compressor, Merge PDF and Text Case Converter) the processing happens with JavaScript inside your browser. That means your files normally stay on your own device while you use the tool.

We do not create user accounts and we do not build a permanent archive of the files you use with our tools. When you close or refresh the page, the data related to your session is cleared from the browser.

Secure connection (HTTPS)

The site is served over HTTPS so the traffic between your browser and our servers is encrypted. Always check that you see https://minitoolbar.com in the address bar before uploading or converting anything.

Analytics and logs

We may use analytics (for example Google Analytics) to measure anonymous usage of the website, such as which tools are most popular and which countries visitors come from. These tools collect technical information like IP address, browser type and pages visited, but not the content of the files you process.

Error logs may be created when something goes wrong. These logs are used only to diagnose problems and to protect the service from abuse.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the files you choose to process with minitoolbar. We recommend that you:

  • Use our tools only on devices you trust and keep them up to date.
  • Keep backups of important documents before converting or compressing them.
  • Avoid processing highly sensitive or secret information with any online service.

If you have security questions, you can always reach us at contact@minitoolbar.com.
